A lovely old Top Quality Carlton Ware Hand Painted Biscuit Barrel in stunning condition...no faults.... there is minor surface age crazing to some sections of barrel body...the silver plate on the raised sections of the lid shows some brassing through but otherwise it is a near Mint Piece. The Barrel measure 8 inches to lid nob top and has a diameter at widest point of 6 inches. This Barrel has a Registration Number imprinted to base dating it as 1895.
