此拍品籽料玉质，甚为温润，周身布满沁色。两面纹饰相同，玉璧出廓镂刻龙凤纹，龙首多有卷鼻、长眉、花式分叉角或独角。此件玉璧微有钙化，呈现鸡骨白色，造型雅致，纤薄秀雅，雕刻打磨极为不易，展现当时工匠高超的技艺。玉璧在汉代作为贵族重要的礼仪器物，在祭祀、朝贺、纳聘等重要场合均会使用。
