铜 这种弥勒佛造像又称大肚弥勒佛、布袋和尚，是汉传佛教造像常见的一种，在中原地区流传甚广，为慈悲福分之象征。其形象是依照五代时期僧人契此的形象塑造，宋代以后，在汉传佛教地区逐渐广为人知。弥勒佛右手持念珠搭于右膝上，左手握一布袋，结游戏姿坐，神态悠闲。慈眉善目，笑容可掬，大肚袒露，笑口常开，形象生动写实。将其逍遥自在、大肚能容的形象表现得极为到位。衣褶简洁到位，极具质感，饰有雕刻精细的花纹。造像铜质优良，色泽古朴，工艺一流，形象生动，在清代造像中极为少见。
