A group of Egyptian antiquities, to include: an ushabti, probably Late Period (c.650-300 BC), a funerary servant figure in blue faience, shown in the form of a mummy, 6.5cm high, a triad, probably Late Period to Early Ptolemaic (c.650-200 BC), a light blue faience funerary amulet showing the triad of Horus, Isis and Nephthys, 3cm high, a green faience amulet in the figure of Anubis, Late Period (c.650-300 BC), 4.5cm high, a Wadj amulet, Late Period to Early Ptolemaic (c.650-200 BC), 4cm high, a steatite scarab seal amulet, Late New Kingdom to Third Intermediate Period (c.1200-700 BC), the underside engraved with a scene showing a pharaoh in a chariot, 1cm long, a wedjat amulet, Late New Kingdom to Third Intermediate Period (c.1200-700 BC) or later, in the shape of the Eye of Horus, in dark blue faience, 3.25cm long, and a large steatite wedjat, 20th century, with inlaid details, 7cm long (7) Provenance: Count Eric von Rosen (1879-1948) of Rockelstad Castle, Stockholm, Sweden; thence by descent. These items were acquired by Count von Rosen, a prolific author, explorer and friend of Howard Carter during the 1920s, and were exhibited at Rockelstad Castle at that time. Condition report: The ushabti in poor order, surface sugared and degraded, surface scratches and small chips to all, most ingrained with dirt.
