Follower of Marco Ricci A stag hunt in a mountainous landscape, with classical ruins in the foreground oil on canvas 29 x 35cm Condition report: Oil on canvas which appears to have been lined. The canvas tension is good and the picture is in plane. The paint layers are stable overall. Stretcher bar marks have formed where the paint layer has cracked following the lines of the wooden stretcher behind. An old damage near the centre of the picture has been repaired, filled and retouched. Other areas of overpaint are mainly located in the sky. The varnish is slightly yellowed but even and glossy.
