|马季（1934-2006），原名马树槐，出生于天津市宝坻区，天津宝坻县黄庄村人，已故相声表演艺术家、相声大师。其相声作品中以《登山英雄赞》、《画像》和《找舅舅》等节目影响为大。1956年，马季进入中国广播说唱团，师从侯宝林先生。1965年后，马季正式成为中国相声演员。80年代，马季把相声搬上以春晚为标志的晚会舞台，1983年被委任为第一届春晚总策划，1984年创作《宇宙牌香烟》进入春晚，1987年马季创作群口相声《五官争功》，1989年春晚表演相声《送别》。1991年创作相声《训徒》，1996年创作作品《老少乐》。2003年10月3日，北京周末相声俱乐部成立，马季出席并题匾。2006年9月，中国曲艺界的牡丹奖将终身成就奖颁给马季。2006年12月20日因心脏病复发抢救无效逝世于北京，享年72岁。
