|胡爽盦（1916-1988），近现代画虎大师，其水墨写意虎，笔墨酣畅，神采自如，堪称一绝。湖北襄阳人。又名霜庵，斋名啸风堂，别名胡剑鸣，自幼父母双亡，在乡间牧羊为生，闲来喜用木棍、指甲作画。18岁到济南，在山东省政府交际处当科员，业余自学绘画，尤爱画虎，1935年拜张善捎为师学习画动物，后在网狮园与张大千识，又拜张大千为师学画人物、山水。中国美术家协会会员、北京市美术中国画组、北京美术公司创作室从事中国画创作。出版有《中国画选》、《虎》等。
