Antique CAC American Belleek Lenox tankard or stein with handle features hand painted brick red currant berries on branches with leaf foliage on a lovely rusty red brick shadow ground. American Belleek is known as the Ceramic Artpany (CAC) of Trenton, New Jersey. This beautiful antique tankard bears the initials of the Ceramic Artspany, the Belleek name, and palette mark in green used from 1889 to 1905. The Ceramic Artpany became Lenox Inc. in 1906. It measures 7 inches tall and three inches across the top. It is free of chips, cracks and repairs. There is a tiny white mark near the handle, possibly a scratch or missed paint and very minor pin dots. It is in perfect condition to add to an antique art pottery collection, country home or Arts and Crafts décor, and a wonderful holiday gift idea.
