An early 19th century early chinoiserie porcelain cup and saucer. It features beautifully decorated Asian village scenes with people, boats, birds and small animals. The cup has a ring handle. This item dates in the early 19th century. The condition of the cup and saucer is relatively good considering the age. There is some wear to the brown transfer ware and copper luster in certain areas. It has some iron specks due to the firing of kiln. There are no visible cracks or chips. Dimensions: The plate measures approx. 6 1/2". The cup measures approx. 3 1/2" height and 4 3/8" length including the handle.
